Bedrooms

We try to humanize everything here, because that is what our guests are used to. We want your stay to be a home from home and not an impersonal, bleak hotel.

The three bedrooms are all double occupancy with private facilities. They vary slightly in size and décor, each with its own unique and charming character. The bedrooms are all on the first floor of the house and are comfortably furnished with feather quilts and pillows, cotton sheets and generous fluffy towels. You will also find home made shortbread and tea and coffee with fresh milk. Each room has TV/DVD/CD/radio and we have a selection of DVDs, CDs and books which you can borrow during your stay.

Melyn (Yellow) – This bedroom is at the back of the house with views over the town to Long Mountain. Large double bed and small en-suite shower room.

Glas (Blue) – At the front of the house, the bedroom faces onto Salop Road. Standard double bed and en-suite shower room.

Grug (Heather) – This room has two windows – one looks out onto Salop Road at the front and the other has views over our garden towards Long Mountain at the back. Large double bed and en-suite shower room. An extra bed or cot can be added to this room for families, by prior arrangement.

Melyn is carpeted and Glas and Grug have the original polished oak floors.

If you do have an allergy to feathers, please let us know prior to your arrival. We can then ensure that the quilt and pillows are replaced with synthetically filled ones.
